You Made a Difference — Two weeks ago, Chicago’s WBEZ 91.5 Radio interviewed Adventist representatives on its “Worldview” feature. General Conference spokesman Ansel Oliver discussed Adventist Pastor Antonio Monteiro’s imprisonment in the West African country of Togo. Monteiro has been arbitrarily held for more than 500 days, with no evidence and no trial. We asked Illinois members to listen during the interview and to prayer, so that our participation here in Chicago would lead to greater publicity. Mr. Oliver informed us the response to this interview was great and has led to an upcoming one with the Associated Press. The AP story should be available in a week or two.
