You can withhold your criticism because it wont sway me. I dont send my child to ABA therapy to cure him, because you cant cure autism. I send him to ABA therapy to give him life skills and coping mechanisms, because I wont live forever, and I want him to be as independent as possible. Ive left almost every autism mom forum I was involved with because they cant seem to quit criticizing each other, or because they are touting pseudo-science as the gospel, which I think is dangerous. And no, I DONT think Autism Speaks wants me to kill my kid. Get a freaking grip! #offthesoapbox #iwillgoitalonethanks
