You know, I have to be honest; just a couple of years ago this video probably would have meant nothing to me. Ive always had an appreciation for athleticism in any form, but its hard to truly appreciate something without context. Once youve hung from a pair of rings and tried to hoist yourself up its impossible to look at a routine like this in the same way. The fluidity of his movement is beautiful, and the effortless nature with which he performs this routine hides the immense strength it requires. Thank you to the people who have inspired me to become better at gymnastics, and to appreciate the beauty of this sport!
