You know, after the tragic event of the shootings this weekend on Dorchester road, I got to thinking about society in general. An overwhelming percentage of America has a discouraging outlook towards bikers in general. They seem to look at us as rebellious, rednecky, wayward type of people that are just out there to raise hell and get in everyone’s face. We are, most times, considered dangerous, crazy, and just downright weird and that we have no real regards for anyone but ourselves. Sure we have our moments when we can be cantankerous, belligerent and sometimes downright mean, we get into our scuffles and sometimes some pretty good fights, but that’s not who we are. We have our Motorcycle Clubs, Riders Clubs, Riders associations, Veteran’s groups, and many, many lone wolf riders in our community. But still we seem to be judged as a whole as “outlaws” to our society. But if you break it down, the entire Biker community throughout this nation are all the same. We are probably one of the largest groups of people that have true beliefs. We believe in God, we believe in and love our country, we believe in loyalty and respect, we believe that what you give is what you get, we believe in the Constitution and what it stands for, and mostly we believe in Brotherhood, And we believe in standing up for our rights!!!! So if in Society’s mind we are “Outlaws” or “Delinquents”, then so be it. I am Proud to be labeled a BIKER, and I always will be. MLH&R to all the Bikers of this Great Country!!!
