You know, who wants to live in a world in which everyone has the same thoughts? The same beliefs? The same orientation? The same political bent? The same culture? I personally enjoy posts which agree with mine, dont agree with mine, or pose questions which make me question my own beliefs. The hallmark of a thinking person is the ability to hold opposing views in their own mind and among friends and enemies alike, and evaluate and expound upon the benefits of all views rationally, calmly, and without taking offense or instigating unpolite discourse. Sometimes you just have to let a FB friend/contact/associate go, not because you dont appreciate their posts (which are both entertaining and usually a bit thought provoking), but because they have in their friendship circle some real gems (amazingly racist, narrow-minded, reactionary, single-issue instigators, etc.) who have clearly missed a station or two at the intellect factory assembly line, and who lack the sensibility God gave a goat. Come on people...its totally OK to hold opposing views on any subject, just stay within the boundaries of common courtesy and allow the possibility of logical thought and civil discourse. Whatever your beliefs and/or affiliations, whatever your culture or race, have character, dont be a character.
