You may have noticed that I am not posting much today, I really dont like to share overmuch about my condition, but I need prayer. Yesterday my nurse found a BP of 116/52, a set of numbers that are way over the top and are a dramatic sign of a weakening heart. This produces edema, with a swollen belly and swollen feet. My slippers are usually slip ons, but I needed a shoe horn to get them on this morning and I will change into socks. My nurse upped my dose of diuretics, which cause their own problems. I am planning to spend much of the day in bed with my feet propped up. Anyone who knows me knows I am OK with heaven and God has extended my time beyond reason, for which I am thankful. My prayer need is that I get to the holidays, where I can hang out with family members in small dinners through out Nov and Dec. Also for the diuretics to work so my severe swelling will go down, decreasing the strain on my heart. Many thanks for your prayers, love and support. Love, Nicholas
