The Church was started by people who denied and abandoned Jesus in His most difficult hours. Remember that leaders are people who walk the same path you do, but often without someone else preparing them with weekly messages, and personal counseling. Scripture tells us to pray for our spiritual leaders. They make easy targets, and are at times brought to a humble point by others or God Himself. But our faith needs to be in the right place.
