You show me your fiends; I will show you your future. I know for sure this expression, this life lesson, exists in Navajo, Spanish, and Italian, and I am sure in many if not all other cultures. I kept the Navajo version posted on my classroom wall for years. Thanks to Marilyn Hesse Calhoun for sharing this video. Middle school and high school teachers out there, if you can figure out how to get a copy of this to show to your kids, do it. If you have a multicultural class, post this in any language your kids speak or understand. The kids in the video got it; you kids will too.
