You thought it would be nice to fix a dish for my family. You did your part and whether it was large or small, with a church or on your own... You went to the trouble to throw a few things together and bring them to our table. ..... I dont think most of you- unless youve been on this end of heartache- can know what youve done. Another incredible meal was delivered tonight. Two weeks and two days since our lives turned. It isnt just a meal. It isnt fruit salad or corn on the cob... Its the only excuse we have to stop what we are attempting to do( because I assure you we are walking around in grief-drunk circles pretending to function normally) and gather together for another meal. So many of you were right.. It gets even harder, I cant breath at times, my mind is numb and my daily goal is to get a bath because its so hard to be alone that long. Sleep has left us, or at least rest has, and the fog has settled hard. JESUS..JESUS, is all we can say sometimes.. Its all thats needed. That wonderful, precious name brings our next breath. Thats where we are. Thats actually what I mean when I say, were doin ok. So it may have been just food to you but it has been life to us, it has brought us together again and again when we needed to go on but couldnt apart. Thank you for caring so much and PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY!!
