You who know me, know I like to spar, but I dont start fights. I don t call people names (unless they start it.--I know. Not good on me) You have to call me, my family/friends or country names before Ill really circle the wagons. Theres a thread of people attacking America. To call yourself an American, you have to love this Country. Or be content as a resident. Here is what it looks like from my perspective: 1. I do not have access to the intelligence that led US to Saddam Hs and OBLs doorstep. I do know we were brutally murdered on 9/11 and when OBL heard the Towers collapsed said, on video, Praise allah. We tracked down SH with the help of his people and about 7 other countries. They tried and executed him for unspeakable atrocities. This new thread sees ISIS as Americas fault because we meddled. I just cant see that at all. It feels like they are spitting on the graves of our soldiers and those who died in the WTC. The Middle East was destabilized when they attacked us--not when we meddled. 2. This thread of residents says Ferguson looting, riots and violence is not the fault of the poor looters. Theyre too poor and uneducated to know better--they completely overlook the fact 80% of the rioters arent even from Ferguson. Its a theft free for all. But they want to blame law enforcement and give everyone else a free pass because theyre apparently too poor & stupid. If I were a black resident Id be offended at the incendiary racism telling me Im too poor and stupid to know better. I get it. We are in a pile of crap over there--but we need to not only be accountable, we need to expect accountability from our countrymen. If youre ashamed to stand up and scream from the rooftops you love America, fine. Move.
