Young 159, 81-83 Just been searching through some stuff and came across these from my time at Inde. The Picture was taken just before my brother’s wedding in October 1982. I was a Pads Brat and as my brother was in the Blues and Royals and he was wearing full No 1 dress uniform my dad a WO II in the Army Physical Training Corps at Herford in Germany, and two cousins, one in the Army, Royal Engineers and the other in the other in the Navy. My father and brother thought it would be a good idea if I wore my school uniform, much to my disgust. Anyway worked out quite well as I had a good evening, the bar staff thought I was in the Navy so I could drink. Also there are my discharge papers from the school. Brought back memories finding these. As you can see academically I wasnt really bothered, I had the aptitude just not the inclination, so I only got a C. I got a B for conduct, Very Good, mainly because I was never caught! Great memories.
