They scheduled a qualifier for the 2016 championships between Serbia and Albania in Belgrade, Serbia. This was not a friendly. You have no idea. Just a short history lesson: The Balkan region has been in violent conflict as recently as 1995, and then on and off for roughly the last 500 years, AND 100 years and 3 months ago, the First World War began in Serbia. The two nations hadnt played a match for 47 years FOR A REASON. So when in the 40th minute a drone carrying an Albanian flag was pulled down by a Serbian player that led to a bench clearing brawl with skinhead fans joining in on the pitch, multiple arrests including the brother of the Albanian prime minister, and accusations from the highest levels of government on both sides of terrorism and conspiracy OVER A FLAG, the UEFA president released a statement saying: Football is supposed to bring people together and our game should not be mixed with politics of any kind.
