Yup, there was an earthquake over here this morning. It felt like a huge truck rumbled by and shook the whole building. Nothing broke, collapsed, or slid into the Pacific Ocean. One of the resident cats here where Ive been sorting my (life) stuff went high-stepping across the floor with a baffled, startled and faintly alarmed look on her face. I thought she was thinking, WTF?!? The floor isnt supposed to be moving!! 5 minutes later, she was curled up taking a bath. I wasnt in the van, so I dunno what MY cats thought of it, but they were all business-as-usual when I got back to the van a little while later. Today I applied for my replacement Social Security card and it all went off without a hitch this time. Next, I will see if I can take on some Personal Care Assistant hours for a little while, to make gas money at least, so I can move on again.
