Yuraj singh and Cricket :- Its heartening to see yuvraj singhs half century. My favourite shot that he played today was not a six but a cover drive for a boundry. Had he played the Leaning cover drive that would have been the shot of the match. Sanjay Manjekar talked about his debue let us have a look of his that inning through my eyes :- I vividly remember I was in 9th class when I saw his picture in The Tribune performing a stretching excercise it read I AM READY Two days later I saw his debue vs Australia in Nariobi. He played with a punch of bottom hand and his high back lift generated a lot of power, he was very agile, athletic & accurate with his throws. He scored 84 that day hitting the ball to all corners of the ground against the likes of Brett lee , Macgrath and the field setting of veteran skipper Steve waugh. Three things that l like about him :- (1) His celebration is always special. (2) He is always in high spirits. (3) He always disappoints the world because he lives his life on his own terms.
