amazon/Pokemon-Colosseum-Bonus-Disc-Gamecube/dp/B00005Q5D9 This is the Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc. You can purchase one new for $60.00 USD. If its used, it may be useless [EDIT: apparently, you can use a used bonus disc indefinitely. That means you can have a disc for manufacturing endless Jircachi for $41.98]. Outside of special events, it is the only way to obtain the penultimate third generation Legendary Pokemon, Jirachi. To get one, you have to put this disc in your GameCube, and use a Link Cable to link it up to your Game Boy Advance with any G3 Pokemon game in it (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed or LeafGreen). Now, put your Game Boy Advance cartridge in the bottom slot of your original Nintendo DS. In the top slot, you can put in any G4 game: Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver, and use the Pal Park to manually recapture your Jirachi. OK, now youre going to need a G5 Pokemon game. Black, White, Black 2, or White 2. Using your DSs Download Play, you can upload your G4 Pokemon party, including Jirachi, and play a minigame using the G5 game of your choice to recapture it. If you fail, just keep uploading and downloading until you make it. Now, all you have to do is wait for the Pokemon Bank service to open in about two months. For an annual $5 fee, you can upload your Jirachi to your own personal Pokemon bank vault, finally retreiving it in Pokemon X/Y. Oh, youll need Pokemon X or Y, of course, and a 3DS, but youve already got that, dont you? OK, so thats the Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc, a GameCube, a Link Cable, a Game Boy Advance, a G3 Pokemon game, an original Nintendo DS, a G4 Pokemon game, a G5 Pokemon game and a Pokemon Bank fee. Lets be generous and assume you have the G5 Pokemon game anyway, since if youre really intent on catching them all youre really really gonna need one. Total cost of obtaining Jirachi, by current Amazon prices: $166.25 Congratulations, you should now have the only Pokemon that knows Doom Desire, a somewhat more powerful version of Future Sight.
