........and so we begin the Cheshire Cat. Im doing the base of PM striping like I would do a pumpkin. A plastic shopping bag, stuffed w/ newspaper then the handles, rubber band closed.Instead of tying it w/ twine like I would a pumpkin to give it ridges, Im using tape to get a smoother form. Once striped and clayed I will make an opening in the top of the head to pull out bag and newspaper, just like I would a pumpkin but instead of making this the lid for a pumpkin, I will glue and seal it back up w/ hot glue and clay.
