article 9 of npp constitution spells out the modalities for organizing a national delegates conference; and it talks about a single venue where the general secretary is mandated to present a secretariat report,director of finance to present the true picture of current state of affairs,finance-wise and also to afford contestants for various positions to address the delegates. however,we are currently being told that this aspect of the partys constitution is going to be thrown out-of-the-window because there is no money to organize this constitutionally-binding event. now,this event is carried out ever 4years,asuch,the current party executives who have been employed and being paid by the party to think and come up with strategies to have made sure this aspect of the partys constitution is strictly adhered to,by way of fund-raising activities,have completely slept on the job. and to make matters worse,these executives who have woefully failed to put measures in-place to have made sure the party was on sound financial footing to have made the holding of the delegates conference possible,as required by the partys constitution,and are therefore shouting over the roof-tops that the party is financially insolvent,are rather well-resourced,to be embarking on their personal well-oiled campaigns to retain their positions. in anycase, i believe the right thing will be done and the conference will be held at a single location,in fulfillment of the partys constitution, in order to avoid any unforeseen repercussion.this decision of the partys national executives to hold the conference in the fashion of swiss-cheese-holes, in complete violation of the the partys constitution,is very much akin to that damn-right bogus proposed electoral reforms which sought to turn the partys electoral time-table right on its head,chronologically. for me,these current national executives of the party have been woefully abysmal,by way of performance,and must therefore be booted-out en-block and bring on-board a new crop of leadership that is pragmatic,selfless,dedicated,sincere and extremely zealous for power since we definitely cannot afford to lose three successive elections,in 2016,and rot in opposition till 2021. indeed,this is a serious matter and i would urge all decent-minded and power-hungry followers of npp to please do away with mindless verbal-diarrhea, blind-folded hero-worshiping and self-seeking bigotry, and rather, focus our energies on issues that will unite us in the spirit of hard-work and brotherliness,so we can forge ahead into 2016 with confidence and unity of purpose, to get rid of John Kofi-Dubai Mahama-led bunch of plain-faced criminals,politically annihilate them from our nations political landscape and render quality governance to our currently economically battered citizenry. God bless our home-land Ghana as well as the great elephant family; and may He perpetually shower His divine spirit of courage upon us to enable us continue speaking the truth and damn where the chips may fall.
