concerned singaporean: June 22, 2013 at 1:29 pm (Quote) Thanks Jack for the knowledge. NEA and Minister Vian and Dr Ng Eng Han should be transparent. We should learn from China to use PMI 2.5 mm particles. The Chinese government after a long outcry as well as the American using the PMI 2.5 in the end relentlessly adopted the more fine particle. Since Dr Vivian and Dr Ng are doctors they should know the impacts of fine particles affecting our respiratory system. Be transparent and adopt 2.5 measurement. Also measure on the hourly basis and NOT 3 hours. Also be truthful rather than asking us to accept the average reading of 24 hours. Stop all these bull shitting and let the public accessible to more data. This is NOT China and we should have the rights to the data. Learn from China in combating the pollution in Beijing and seed the cloud to create rain to wash away the pollutants. You can spend millions on FT scholarship and why not spending on seeding and the advance technology to measure the PM2.5.
