e-Books Competition Our school is announcing the beginning of the e-Books Competition. Students, parents and teachers are being challenged to help our school in building our own digital library with the launch of the e-Books Competition to create readers in the process. Everyone can join in. Students can work together in groups on a particular subject, or a student might want to work individually. We will select the winning entries across four categories which include: Junior competition – Open to all Victory College students in years 1-6 with the help of their parents. Senior competition – Open to all Victory College students in years 7-12 Parents’ competitions – Open to all parents to share Teachers, staff competition – Open to all staff We are going to announce one winner and two runners up at every competition. The kinds of books found in the library: Fiction : Popular/mainstream fiction, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Romance Novels, Crime, Thrillers, Historical novels Non-fiction : Encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Textbooks, Histories, Maps, Music Quick-read books , Graphic Novel/Comic Books ,Childrens books Rules: •Let us know that you are participating by contacting Mrs. Sahar or Mr.Hesham and for our national school our librarian Mrs.Hala •Each student, parent and teacher has to download at least five books •After downloading the books, email them to vac.digital.library@gmail •Make sure to write down your name and grade in the email •Competition starts 20th of October and ends 8th of January •The judges’ decision will be final Prizes: For each five books a student downloads he/she will be granted the full mark for the project of the subject he/she downloaded the books for. If the books for different subjects, a student can choose the subject he wants. This goes for all participates .(students only of course) There is an additional Achievement Award: •We are going to choose 12 winners from all participants depending on the number of books downloaded and the quality of books. In addition, the student, the parent or the teacher has to do one presentation for one of these books. -Each of our winners will receive: - A certificate (students, parents and teachers) - A gift(students, parents and teachers) as well as going on a trip (students, parents and teachers) Please join us. كلية النصر بالمعادى قسم الدبلومة الدبلومة الامريكية مسابقة الكتاب الالكترونى يعلن قسم الدبلومة الامريكية عن بدء مسابقة الكتاب الالكترونى e-Book تعد المسابقة تحدى للطلبة واولياء الامور والسادة المدرسين لبناء وتكوين مكتبة رقميه وتعد المسابقة بداية لخلق جيل جديد من القراء خلال اعداد مكتبة كلية النصر الرقميه ويعلن القسم ان المسابقة متاحة لجميع الاقسام للمشاركة الفعاله. شروط الاشتراك فى المسابقة: 1-لطلاب واولياء امور ومدرسين القسم الامريكى برجاء التسجيل عن طريق الاستاذه / سحر الفتى او الاستاذ / هشام فرج وباقى الاقسام مع مسؤلة مكتبة كلية النصر الاستاذه / هالة مصطفى 2-بعد تحميل الكتب الالكترونية يرجى ارسالها الى البريد الالكترونى الاتى Vac.digital.library@gmail 3- تبداء المسابقة من تاريخ 20 – 10 – 2014 وتنتهى فى 8 – 1 – 2015 4- سوف تقوم لجنة التحكيم باختيار الفائزين. 5- سوف يتم اختيار افضل 12 فائز بناء على عدد الكتب المحمله وجودتها وتنوعها واكتمالها . 6- بالاضافة الى عمل عرض توضيحى عن احدى الكتب المختارة . 7- سوف يقوم كل فائز بالحصول على شهادة تقدير ( اذا كان طالب او ولى امر او مدرس ) بالاضافة لوجود جائزة رمزية بجانب الحصول على رحلة بالتنسيق مع ادارة المدرسة مجانا.
