facebook is horse assing me around again LOL - posted this a little bit ago and it appears to be gone - they do this with posts they don’t like: there is not open range on the reservation or in south dakota - when a state - like wyoming - or a tribe - has open range - it must be clearly posted ever so many miles so that the driver will know there may be livestock on the highway - then if the driver hits an animal it is his/her fault - steve emery started this legal fallacy years ago when a lady friend of mine hit a horse belonging to a local stock contractor - emery told her that it was her fault and that the owner had no liability - that’s bullshit - later on this lady’s sister was killed in similar circumstances - i advised the family to sue but they paid me no mind - if any member of the council or administration had any balls or a sense of decency - they’d take this up for our people - it could be brought up at a district meeting by anyone of you and a motion made for the tribal attorney to put out a public notice in this regard
