good morning bros and sisters, cousins, relatives, friends, classmates, haters, admires, enemies .......... good morning facebook! today I will start off by telling you a story..... Long time ago in knz colony there was a huge problem of scarcity of water, people fought like cats and dogs for water, YES! kohima was a shithole back thn and it still is..... Two little girls headed to peace camp all the way from lower knz to fetch water but when they reached the pond a man came and stopped them saying that the pond belonged to a certain clan and outsiders were prohibited to fetch the water from it, some angamis from barabasti are too orthodox and in the process they have forgotten that their are other human beings apart from them....feeling helpless they decided to head home but on their way back they saw a pond full of water just below cc school, instead of thinking twice they ran to that pond and started filling their buckets.... Suddenly an old woman appeared and started scolding them for fetching the water, that old lady was someone they knew, she was a missionary who once shared the word of God in the church they belong to...sadly, this old lady had no idea about them... Anyway, she was furious and those girls were wrong to fetch the water without the permission of the owner, the lady yelled at them saying tui khan town te thaka manu khan kiley yete biya disease spread kuri ase, jail jabo mun ase!!!!!! she went ahead and scratch the ground where those girls stood and dig out the mud and threw away the chunk of mudl, not only that she took their mug and started throwing out all the water from the pond saying that it was dirty and contaminated by the biya disease from them and she even poured out all the water from their buckets too..... The girls headed home with empty buckets shocked by the behaviour of that missionary.... till today I am in a daze of shock when I picture that incident..... Now when I hear about that lady I am filled with bitterness and anger towards her for what she did to me and my sister, a small incident completely changed my perception about missionaries...... it is disappointing for someone like her to even share the word of God cause what I just shared is not a make up story or an exaggeration of what happened that morning........ SCARCITY OF WATER HAS BEGUN IN KOHIMA :D and at this time of the year I always recall that incident so u knw...... :) Akhriebu Mere Angami I hope its the same with you nde? :D
