hello...just a wee note to say I am really sorry that your messages are not getting answered as quickly as they should,my messages inbox is literally collapsing in on itself like some sort of black hole/vortex-y sciencey thing...anyway I just wanted you to know that this is a one-woman operation, so I do pretty much everything here, all the processing, packing and posting of etsy orders, all the hand painted doodle heart commissions(which take forever) and the packing of those babies takes a wee while I can tell you ,other commissions and illustrations, I also have the Doodle Girl books to illustrate (which are filling my every thought at the moment) and I also have a family and a little life outside of this painting/drawing/doodling malarkey. Now, dont get me wrong, I absolutely love love love what I do and am very aware of how fortunate I am to be able to do what I love and make a career out of it , so dont think for one second that I am complaining, I am not , I am always very grateful, but I wanted to explain why a) I am always behind schedule, and b) why it may take quite a while to get a response from me . I am not being rude or ignoring anybody but I am trying to prioritise and make the most of my time , which has been greatly reduced with the school holidays of course. I should also add that I am quite a haphazard sort , slightly disorganised , with a hazillion things blasting through my head at any one time so its actually a miracle that ANYTHING ever gets done actually. I am always amazed when I achieve something, probably more so than anyone else. My amazing sister ,Hayley, will try to go through the twelvety hundred messages awaiting a response over the next few days, she is very very preggie and may go into labour while she does but shes tough as old boots and great at multi-tasking so dont worry ;) I suppose I should really be saying thanks for sticking with me..you are all lovely
