heroine. I wish I would have known this woman. I might have, we had friends in common. I admire her and the other two young men shot in the head and face while honouring their commitment to each other to use their first world advantage to attempt to protect the people they ( ISM) dedicated themselves to protect. One died they stayed they continued to use themselves as human shields. There is no greater courage then to throw your own body in the gears of evil especially non-violently. I am not anti gun or anti violence in every case. It is very clear to me that it is far more courageous to attempt to reach the other on a human level unarmed no mater what the cost.To project the best in ourselves and hope the other has the same capacity for empathy to either reach them on a human level and connect or expose the world to the monsters who live among us. These kids could not take another persons life and they projected that out to the world. But could not bring themselves to leave the people behind after they grew to know and care for under the unfair and brutal circumstances. I read her letters to her family. I hope if it were I in her place I would like to think I would do the same. I don’t know If I could. but I aspire to be like that...
