hey austin. im considering renting a smallish space to set up a recording studio. i have the gear but not a good space to set it up in. would want a room big enough to set up a large console desk, have a place for a drum set, and 3 or 4 other musicians to be and play together. however, im flexiable on a smaller space that could be a way to get going now while i build towards a bigger space. id want quiet neighbors who dont mind if i make some noise, which precludes me from setting up in a place that is dedicated for band practice space (loud!). having said the make some noise thing, id clarify that im looking to record acoustic based music, so noise levels would mostly be from a drum set on rare occasions, with unplugged acoustic levels being the norm. the place would need to have no audible hvac systems (like AC or heating systems that would get picked up through the mics). locations in south austin, buda, manchaca, or maybe even east austin would work. any ideas?
