These are just suggestions. If you feel they might help to remember them, please share so student of English might benefit from them. My suggestion is to ignore the exact pronunciation of the numbers and just try to learn the basic distinct sounds of the basic numerals. After the student is able to distinguish the basic sounds that identify the number, at the later stage, they can enhance their pronunciation and add the details to reconstruct the exact sound that identifies the intended number. Here are my suggestions for the basic sounds: These approximate sounds are good approximations to the original sounds. I think learning the language could be done through learning the basic components firsts and then adding the details-Remember how an image can be stored and compressed and then decompressed. The border lines identify the pictures, adding shades give it the sharpness.
