hidden valley lakes is a campground but some people live there also hidden valley lakes was left to me and my wife by my dad and stepmom thats why it matters so much the land owners there have to pay 125 a year for up keep on the roads bath houses and lakes but none of its being done i owe 500 i let it get behind for a reason why should i pay 125 a year when i cant use it to many drunks driving around when that should be done on your land not where everyone else has to be around it i been sobber 7 years i used to drink alot moved from there and now wonting to fix it up cause it was dads and im living there now limbs to low for campers to get in roads suck fish r there but the green weeds growing n the water make it to where u cant fish no guards anymore they done away with that also well we got 1 gaurd woman but she leaves at 12 am all the crap starts at 12 and last till 4 or 5 am she does a good job though but cant say much to the drunks what i dont get is if someone calls the law they dont like comeing out i thought it was aginst the law to drink and drive didnt matter where u where the people that run the place say if u dont pay u cant come vote or be at the meetings thats a stupid idea how can u fix the problem when we cant come im making payments now cause i will be at the next meeting and its going to hit the fan and the other thing is we pay 28$ a year for taxes to hickman and then pay hidden valley lakes 125 per lot for up keep on the roads why not let the county have it cops can come n and roads took care of and all we pay is 28 a year now hidden valley lakes is trying to take property owners land if they dont pay thats real wrong no matter how u look at it this has been going on since the 80s its damn time for a change its not a campground its a prison without the guards every time we vote in another person and no changes theres a lot of trees have someone log the land the roads r there trees easy to get to and thats the hard part for loggers have someone follow them around behind the log truck with a grader so roads wont b screwed up and have land owners that wont some trees cut sign a paper saying if they have some trees cut that hidden valley lakes gets it all in the office in one big check and put that money back in the bank then build something fun to do besides drink beer and smoke dope and act like a fool and then hvl can fix the roads the only thing we have is the pool and bath houses but the bath houses need a little repair get off your ass and fix some crap i got a lot of quistions that i wont answered i cant ask them on here but befor u try and make me do right and pay fix your own mess 1st from all the years hvl screwed up then i dont mind paying
