History is what fascinates me. Not numbers. I love stories. Markets tell you a picture of what the world is investing into. More internet of things, more commerce, more connectedness et al. I also believe that you cannot go forward without reading and studying the past. We are fortunate to have many great men in history. Please watch Mr Stephen Davids documentary (3 part series) on men who built America. You will learn the lives of Cornelius Vanderbilt, John Rockefeller, Andrew Carnegie, JP Morgan. If we want the Philippines or our own lives (families, ourselves) to be great , we must have wonderful men and women to look up to. May they help inspire you , teach you a lot and may you appreciate history more than anything in this world. I realize now why history took one of my favorite teachers breath away. Life is never full. history is one of the most wonderful subjects that you have in life. look at the past and learn a lot from great people. More than anything, I want or I fervently hope that I pass on one thing/ be an insatiable learner and youd build great things and have a great life. We must live and love learning. Amen.
