Today, I propose that we take a fresh perspective on life. I propose that we have an attitude of gratitude. In a number of places in the Holy Bible, someone is either praising God for what He has done in their life, or they are saying Give thanks to the LORD. One such passage is: Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. - Ps 136:1 ESV So, Im asking every one of you: What are you thankful for? Speaking for myself, Im thankful for God, and for my salvation. Im also thankful for: the indwelling Holy Spirit, my Bible, my family and friends, my church, having a roof over my head, having a bed to sleep in every night, clothes, a year-round income, health insurance, my laptop computer, my phone, and my car. Ill probably think of other things too; so dont be surprised if you see Edited on my post relatively soon.
