Had Larry Coker not called off the dogs in a lot of games (the 2001 Rose Bowl Championship game comes to mind, beating Nebraska 37-14 where they easily could have dropped 60+), the 2001 Miami Hurricanes would have annihilated records in every category. Watch this and a few other games and note the players who played for the Canes that season: -Jeremy Shockey -Ed Reed -Sean Taylor -Willis McGahee -Jarrett Payton -Ken Dorsey -Johnathan Vilma -Vince Wilfork -Antrelle Rolle -Frank Gore -Andre Johnson ...and many more. This team produced not just NFL players but in a lot of cases franchise players, Pro Bowlers and Super Bowl Champions.
