i saw something disturbing yesterday. Graphic footage of unspeakable (but we must) injustices to how living cows are being processed alive ... i skipped seeing some of these actual poor souls, but the ones i forced myself to look at i could see the life in their eyes. And i woke up this morning thinking about them also. i also realized that the person doing these things, or the various workers have to be having feelings about this or numb of course! But what i was thinking also was how it makes dating a man who just eats meat from animals who have SOME dignity during their slaughter waaay different than meeting a person who could do those things. It was so creepy, despite people needing jobs desperately, this practice must stop!!! It makes me so happy each time i eat my vegetarian food to realize there is not that energy, that karma of hurting another sensitive and sentient being whether an animal supposedly cannot feel or not! i know the more i am alive on this planet that animals other than human definitely have lives and they have desires and they have a joyous path theyd prefer to live rather than a gruesome nitemare of not only dying for someone elses plate but then to add insult to injury to actually put them through lengthy torture and completely disregarding for their feelings and kill them as though they were merely compost in a bucket. These are beings. They have lives.
