i was not around, or very interested about politics when JFK was in office, and while he was a Democrat to the bone, he knew what his Oath meant, He knew what it cost to preserve it, and would stand against any who would threaten this nation, and our God given inalienable rights. I would have voted for him I think, in retrospect, because he was a man of Honor, and Integrity when it came to this Nation. Yes I know he cheated on his wife, now, but back then few knew it, and he had a modicum of decency and respect for the office and kept it that way. Isnt it a shame, that Honor, Honesty, and Integrity are not standard courses of study through out the educational process, just as reading, writing, and arithmetic?
