ift.tt/1xipQ1D Boca Raton Resort & Club The Boca Raton Resort & Club is reopening next month after completing a $30 million renovation of its historic Cloister building, the resort announced. Many of the building’s 318 deluxe rooms and suites were part of the original Cloister Inn, built in 1926 by architect Addison Mizner in a Spanish Colonial Mediterranean style design, according to the Sun-Sentinel. “The Cloister building is our statement piece when entering the property,” said Rick Hayduk, the resort’s president, in a prepared statement. “The elegance is recognized immediately.” The Waldorf Astoria-branded hotel began updating its restaurants, lobby and common areas last year. Now it is wrapping up a $1.3 million revamp of its Health Club and preparing for the November debut of Flow House Boca, which will feature a dual-sided FlowRider wave simulator.
