Back in 2011, Captain America : The First Avenger received a tepid reception from all Comicbook Fans & everyone else....Frankly, It was better movie than what it was credited for, capturing the truthful origin story of Steve Rogers & providing a old-world charm story dipped in a goody character reminiscent of Movies lIke The Rocketeer & The Shadow..... Marvel movies always depend on Tony Stark/Iron Man so much so that the other equally good characters are neglected & denied their name in the Sun...........No more, Folks....! Captain America : The Winter Soldier is an apt example of an taut action-er with a heart at its center, that rare combo of solid-story to move the proceedings coupled with fantastically shot & staged action sequences.....Frankly, all the more demanding any fan-boys attention.... Mixing the ideas of espionage, Internal terrorism, deceit & resurgence of HYDRA, honestly, this movie shows how good & under-used an actor Chris Evans is, He jumps right into the Majestically Charming, Righteous character with energy of a Superman & damn he really well is....... Everyone will forget that he played Another marvel character of Human Torch some years back..... The story, treatment is not to be spoiled in here by narrating, suffice it to say, best watch it on big screens to enjoy a movie if anyone are fans of movies like Three days of the Condor or say, The Day of The Jackal Robert Redford is Authority personified in his coolth character....frankly the best casting choice from marvel.... A gravitus filled role, this one.... Samuel Jackson Is well, Samuel Jackson , the punk-ass bad-ass trusting no-one (Must say, the attack on his vehicle scenario was the best choreographed scene) Anthony Mackie is a pleasant & welcome addition & just his 1st scene as Falcon will sent ruptures among fanboys alike..... Scarlett Is HOT, HOT, HOT & yeah, kicks the hell outta everyone including Redford :) The only glitches i felt were the emotional 10-15 mins in the first half & the under-sketched character of Winter Soldier (Come on, its in the title, maybe a better conclusion wud have been appreciated) Emily VanCamp of Revenge makes an appearance in a small role & this movie also features one of the best cameo by That fella Stan Lee. My Verdict : Its the best Marvel movie After The Avengers & in a nutshell more enjoyable than Iron-Man 3 & Thor 2 combined, & resurrects Captain America as an Important & credible character in the Marvel universe. The Icing on The Cake : The immediate after credits scene (directed by Joss Whedon) showing us the characters of Twins - Scarlett Witch & Quicksilver...damn Summer 2015 is too far off & i am waiting already.... There are still some more summer blockbusters to hit in the coming months but i choose Captain America as the best coz it shows how u dont need to wear a Iron Suit or have sophisticated Gadgets to fight Crime/Evil...U just have to be Damn Good...As Dr. Erskine says in part1, Believe in the goodness & Captain America makes us Believe. :)
