it has been a really difficult week. My neck and shoulders hurt from leaning in to my computer 16 hours a day. We keep on naming the Texas bills as clarion calls for a wider, smarter movement for reproductive autonomy. I stepped to the couch to watch a few hours of netflix. Turning on my pc, there is news of the Martin case and Zimmerman found not guilty. Its not that we would feel good if Zimmerman was found guilty on any count but there is something fundamentally wrong, so woven into America that unraveling it may have required this. It is not right. It is complex and worthy of soulful intelligent inquiry. My faith does not include praying to some outside being for intervention but it does include a deep intention to expand mindfulness. We are so uncivilized. Let us learn faster.
