it is amazing... if you compare this site to the republican site... read the issues, and examine them in light of the impact to liberty, taxes and so on... the democrats are taking away individual rights and increasing taxes on individuals... after reading the details of each initiative and its impact on our rights, and what would result in increased taxes... each of the initiatives if voted the way suggested by this party will reduce liberty and increase taxes... its like night and day... they applaud those with amoral values and condescend, criticize and condemn those with traditional moral values. the net result is more government, less individual freedom, more individual taxes... yet people are buying it and proud of being amoral, socialists with views contrary to the constitution and our history... the differences in views are quite polarized. What amazes me is that people I know hold many of the same core values that I do, yet for some reason support this party, despite the platform being completely opposite of their true views... they simply ignore the details... or are involved in very shallow thinking... and dont get me wrong, Im not saying the other party is perfect, nor are the independents or the libertarians... the party platforms and party loyalties prevent people from thinking an issue through and realizing the impact it has... others have decided for them what to think... and they join along without considering the costs or moral aspect... either they dont care, or they dont want to know... how you vote is your business, dont care, dont want to know... but what is important that you actually read and understand the issues and the full ramifications of those issues when you vote... if vote yes on something because it sounds good are you really saying we need to expand government by say 4 billion dollars? And in doing that not really solve the problem... but increase taxes on individuals to the tune of nearly $2,500 a year, which will likely never go back down? Just because it sounds like a good idea? Do the math folks... if we vote to increase our taxes, they wont go back down... if we vote away our rights, they wont come back... dont let a warm fuzzy feeling or fear, uncertainty and doubt sway you... your vote is important... read the details... reading the details is how I ended up on this site...
