its a frustrating life being unemployed! Its even more frustrating when you send out resumes to employers that have a job opening that you are qualified for and they do not have the decency to respond to you to let you know that the job has been filled or that they have not decided on the person they would like to hire. When you go to an unemployment session they now have you keep a work search record! one of the specifics that they ask is what the results were in applying/sending a resume/or calling that place of business so that they know you are doing your part in finding a job. it really looks bad on that work search sheet to say--employer did not respond at all. So-makes me wonder-if this company cant respond to me--what would it really be like to work for a company that has an HR dept that does not follow through to complete the job that they were hired for! FOR ALL YOU EMPLOYERS OUT THERE--be considerate and respond to the people that are applying for your open positions as we are trying to complete our work task that was asked of us by the unemployment office! Thank you for your time!!
