its hard to believe that 9 months ago today I got a skin disease called eczema. at first I thought it was a blister from being on my crutches for 3 months, because in a week I was getting knee surgery. when I finally healed from surgery, I went to a new dermatologist. he first told me I had a fungal infection; but the cultures turned out negative. then he diagnosed me with psoriasis, which scared me to no end. when his treatment didnt work, I went to another dermatologist. I was then diagnosed with a rare and severe form of eczema. Ive tried 5 different topicals, prednisone, and now cortisone shots. and if the doctor isnt happy with my eczema, Ill be doing uv light treatments. eczema is no joke and having it for 9 months is a struggle. but I gotta keep my chin up and I WILL beat eczema:)
