just being me... I was invited to attend an anti domestic violence workshop yesterday. pretty much what I expected, folks (victims) blaming others for their poor choices. At the end, the men were invited to stand up and take a no rape pledge. I didnt. I have never raped or considered raping anyone so why take a pledge not to do something I would never do? If I took the pledge I thought it would imply the possibility exists that I would. After the pledge I wanted to ask, when the womens pledge would take place... but I was near the front of the room, the exit was near the rear, well you get the picture.
