just had an awesome morning speaking to some super sweet women at Westwood Church -- MOPS. i think this might be my favorite kind of audience - mothers of preschoolers. they nod and laugh and smile ... and look like they just graduated high school -- oh my! darling women. the topic: from fairytales to freedom: letting go of the guilt and the try-harder girl. friends, this is the gospel message to our mama hearts: we dont have to be enough, because He is. it doesnt rest on my shoulders. it doesnt reside in my effort. it doesnt require my perfection. one more session tonight with another group. cant wait.
