lost phone, so i play a semi-cruel game on the way back home on seouls subway. if sitting ill put my head down and close my eyes. several stops later a chime will go off for an incoming stop. ill quickly open my eyes, look around, shuffle around in my seat, and stare at the screen that shows the stops name. almost immediately a minimum of 4 아줌마 (middle age korean woman) will start eying me hard. if you live in korea you would know 아줌마 are like white on rice when it comes to a possible open seat, asian pun intended. sometimes even to the extent to push past you, a disabled, or pregnant person to get there (have seen :/ ). anyways ill shuffle my stuff around a bit, the women themselves become a bit fidgety. then the stop will come...and pass, much to their silent confusion. i close my eyes again, only to do it all again few stops later. ill continue to do this all the way to my stop. some men, master bruce, some men just want to see the world burn.
