lots of anger and lots of ego popping up lately on the fishing front here on facebook... guys guys guys... its fishing. were paddling plastic boats around attempting to outwit a creature with a brain smaller than a pea.. and failing a LOT. seriously. a little humility goes a long way. and remember... people with ovaries do it, too... ;) also people who used to have ovaries, well, whatever... you know what i mean. so yes, in that case, your dick MIGHT be bigger. who cares? no matter where youre at, theres still things about the sport to learn and you could learn it from anyone at any time, including the new guy sitting next to you. i suppose i could roar and pound my chest, too, but id just sound like a coked up spider monkey and bruise my boobs. just shut up and fish. its supposed to be fun. the one thing i love most about fishing is really, at the end of the day, its for everyone. instead of expending all that energy telling everyone else on facebook how good you are, why not take a few minutes out of your life and teach a kid how to bait a hook, release a fish, plant a mangrove, pick up some trash, take a vet fishing, show up at a meeting to save the lagoon or something else productive? youll earn more respect with your actions than your words. /rant
