met this cyclist and advocate, dave matthews, at the ymca this morning. dave was seriously injured when hit head on by a car a few years back -- and has since made it his mission to memorialize cyclists, who were killed by cars in georgia. dave is the guy who places those white ghost bikes on the side of the road to help us remember each tragic location and person lost. his mission includes staying in touch with the families of the deceased. sadly, dave has installed 22 ghost bikes in the last two years -- and about half of those in metro atlanta. a number these lost riders were experience cyclists peddling down on the white line on the side of the road. meeting dave made those white bikes even more personal -- lets take care of each other on the road and help his mission become obsolete. check out his website and facebook page below -- thanks, dave!
