She is a chronic cluster headache sufferer for almost 14months now :( with having up to 10 attacks a day. I know there are a few different fund raising things happening just now so please dont feel obligated, although i know every penny raised would be greatly beneficial i think just raising more awareness is something money cant buy, as until i witnessed my life long, best mates, mum being struck down with this like the majority of people, i had never heard of it at all! Neither had she!! You will walk into a hospital or a GP surgery and see leaflets on everything frm toe fungus to migranes to STIs etc..but NO cluster headaches... when she was first diagnosed she wasnt given so much as a helpline number or something to read.. everything she now knows about this debilitating condition she has had to learn by looking it up online, joining the fantastic OUCH uk support group and speaking to people in the same position as herself, she also cannot praise having a couple of sheer godsends fighting her corner (they kno who they are) from OUCHuk.
