my notes from church today: Meg Berg (Robert called this one Ultimate Reconciliation) - If God knows all things, is everywhere, and is all powerful, then HOW could He lose ANYONE? He cant. Youre His. Now and forever. - Just be yourself. Cause you cant be anyone else... so why try to? - its not about the person whos known you the longest... its about the person thats ALWAYS been there for you. - How convenient that God hates all the same people that you do. Gimme a break... God doesnt hate anyone. - God does not care what name you call Him. He doesnt even care if you dont love Him. He loves you. - You are IN God. A PART of Him. Would you cut off your hand and throw it in the fire because it got dirty? No? Then why do you think God would do that? - God knows the reason WHY you do what you do. And guess what? He forgives you BEFORE you do it. - Every knee will bow & every tongue will confess.... NO ONE said death was the cut-off. It can happen after you die. Even the most doubting person will confess when they see Heaven with their own eyes. - If God is LOVE.... And love can NOT hate... therefore, God can NOT hate anyone. - God is not just a white American male... Hes also a black European.. and a Native American woman... and an Oriental child... and an Aussie... and a Scotsman... and a Russian woman... He is ALL in ALL. - there is basically 3 choices for doctrines: 1. Annihilation 2. Eternal Damnation 3. Restoration Which would bring more glory to God? To have His great work disappear? To set His great work on fire forever? Or to restore His great work to perfection? Think about that.... He is the artist... WE are His masterpiece... He WILL restore ALL.
