A 21-year-old woman was allegedly raped by two men at Davel over the weekend. Capt Carla Prinsloo said the woman was confronted at her home by a man who said he was looking for work. When he was told there was no work available, the man became angry. The woman retreated into her house and was confronted by a second man who knocked her unconscious with an unidentified object. When she regained consciousness, she discovered that she had been raped. She had also been burnt with a soldering iron. Police have urged anyone who can assist with information to contact Sgt Lynette Yende at 017 811 1869.
