nov 25 today is my 20th wedding anniversary! you know what i am grateful for then . . . shoulders! oh yes! i lean on them, peek over them, hide behind them, cry on them . . .they are involved in hugs somehow . . . they cover armpits. they are pretty multifunctional. i love leaning on my hubbys. it is perfect for laying on. i rest my head on it when i hug him from the back. his are the strongest shoulders i have ever seen. aside from lifting more than he should, he shoulders the financial responsibilities of our family so i can be a stay home mom. whenever there is a problem, he squares his shoulders and charges it full bore . . .anything intelligent gets out of the way. i think he carries the material needs of our family very well on his shoulders. he also carries the kids, swing sets, big crap we cant carry, cement . . .on his shoulders. hes like a tank. whenever there is a job to be done, he puts his shoulder to the wheel, and gets it done . . . most jobs . . .i changed most of the diapers, but he had to leave something for me to do. so today, dont shrug your shoulders at gratitude. shoulder your piece of making the world better and be grateful for it.
