ny of the maternal ancestors of modern Ashkenazi Jews were European converts, according to a research project headed by a University of Huddersfield professor. The young science of archaeogenetics has been used to settle a long-standing controversy -- the origin of Europes Ashkenazi Jews. Are they principally descended from forbears who migrated from Palestine in the first century AD? Or were their ancestors Europeans who converted to Judaism? A new article in the leading journal Nature Communications claims to have settled the question. Analysis of DNA samples has shown that on the female line, the Ashkenazim are descended not from the Near East but from southern and western Europe. Professor Martin Richards heads the Archaeogenetics Research Group based at the University of Huddersfield and he is a co-author of the new article, entitled A substantial prehistoric European ancestry amongst Ashkenazi maternal lineages. In Hebrew, the word Ashkenazi means Germans and the term is used for Jews of eastern European origin who historically spoke the Yiddish or Judeo-German language. Professor Richards says that the new explanation for their origins was one of the most significant findings from a wider project in which he and his colleagues -- principally the Portuguese PhD students Marta Costa and Joana Pereira -- were analysing mitochondrial DNA samples (i.e. DNA that traces the maternal line) in order to investigate the prehistoric settlement of Europe by migrants from the Near East. Ashkenazi Jewish lineages were among the large quantity of publicly available mitochondrial genomes of people from Europe, the Caucasus and the Middle East that entered the analysis. It was discovered that in the vast majority of cases, Ashkenazi lineages are most closely related to those of southern and western Europe and that they had been present in Europe for many thousands of years. ‌This suggests that, even though Jewish men may indeed have migrated into Europe from Palestine around 2000 years ago, they seem to have married European women, states Professor Richards. This seems to have happened first along the Mediterranean, especially in Italy, and later -- but probably to a lesser extent -- in western and central Europe. This suggests that, in the early years of the Diaspora, Judaism took in many converts from amongst the European population, but they were mainly recruited from amongst women. Thus, on the female line of descent, the Ashkenazim primarily trace their ancestry neither to Palestine nor to Khazaria in the North Caucasus -- as has also been suggested -- but to southern and western Europe. The origins of the Ashkenazim is one of the big questions that people have pursued again and again and never really come to a conclusive view, said Prof Richards, who has described the new data as compelling. Ashkenazim, a Jewish group who migrated to Central and Eastern Europe, make up the majority of the world’s Jewish population today. A recent article in Nature Communications discusses the results mtDNA tests. The article, written by a team of scientists led by the University of Huddersfield’s Martin B. Richards, includes the following in its abstract: Like Judaism, mitochondrial DNA is passed along the maternal line. Its variation in the Ashkenazim is highly distinctive, with four major and numerous minor founders … we show that all four major founders, ~40% of Ashkenazi mtDNA variation, have ancestry in prehistoric Europe, rather than the Near East or Caucasus. Furthermore, most of the remaining minor founders share a similar deep European ancestry. Thus the great majority of Ashkenazi maternal lineages were not brought from the Levant, as commonly supposed, nor recruited in the Caucasus, as sometimes suggested, but assimilated within Europe. These results point to a significant role for the conversion of women in the formation of Ashkenazi communities, and provide the foundation for a detailed reconstruction of Ashkenazi genealogical history. Earlier DNA tests performed on male chromosomes in Jewish communities generally reveal Near Eastern DNA patterns. Population migration and conversion to Judaism may have led to the growth of the Ashekenazi population. Ashkenazi Jewish ancestry may, in fact, stem from the Jewish community in the early Roman Empire. The authors write that “a substantial Jewish community was present in Rome from at least the mid-second century BCE, maintaining links to Jerusalem and numbering 30,000–50,000 by the first half of the first century C.E. By the end of the first millennium CE, Ashkenazi communities were historically visible along the Rhine valley in Germany.” Read more in Nature Communications. New Genetic Research Confirms Koestler’s “Khazar” Theory! Ashkenazi Jews Are Not The Jews of The Bible! I am not a fan of genetic testing for a simple reason. Unless you have the DNA of the 12 sons of Israel there is no way you can confirm with 100% certainty that people who call themselves Jews are the biological descendents of the 12 tribes of Israel. - The modern ‘Jewish’ principle that as long as your mother is a Jew ie. matriarchal line, you are a Jew, has no basis in the Bible. Ie. it is unscriptural and is wrong! The Bible states very clearly that Jews, the biological descendents of the 12 tribes of Israel, are always decided via the patriarchal line. Ie. a man cannot be a Jew unless his father is a Jew, it is the ‘Y’ male chromosome. Inheritance of the land of Israel is always via the male line! Biblically: if a man dies without any children, his brother is to procreate with the widow and leave descendents to his name! I therefore, do not accept the validity of genetic testing via the female mitochondrial DNA as definitive. Below article is nevertheless interesting reading. - As if have stated countless times: modern non semitic Ashkenazi Khazars (90+% of modern Jewry) are not the biological descendents of the 12 tribes of Israel. Ie. they are not Jews. They are goyim! It is all a HOAX to deceive Christians! - NEW GENETIC RESEARCH CONFIRMS KOESTLER’S “KHAZAR” THEORY! by Rev. Ted Pike, truthtellers.org/ Until the early 1980s, like millions of Christians, I believed the racial purity of the Jewish people confirmed Scripture. I saw it as vindicating Biblical prophecy that the Jewish people would not cease to exist. I was forced to reconsider by the compelling evidence of Arthur Koestler’s book The Thirteenth Tribe. Koestler’s thesis has been highly contested, but today new evidence is emerging to support it. - Koestler said that in about the 8th century AD the Khazars, a nation living in Central Urasia, converted to Judaism. They migrated to Poland and created the eastern European or “Ashkenazim” branch of Jewry. This would have been the largest influx of Gentile converts of all time. Koestler concluded that most Zionist Jews today, being Ashkenazim, have no genetic inheritance from Abraham; they are proselytes who seized land in Palestine that never belonged to their true ancestors. - For more than a decade most genetic researchers have rejected Koestler. They said the Ashkenazim (9 million in 1900) were not descendants of Gentile converts but came primarily from a small (50,000) 15th century population of Jews in Germany. Evangelicals and Jews also rejected Koestler’s thesis, because it diminishes the racial purity central to land claims of Zionists. In their support, genetic testing over the past decade revealed that modern Ashkenazim are highly genetically related to modern Sephardim (authentic Jews). It became clear that most Jews, both Sephardic and Ashkenazim, can claim blood from the Middle East. It was also found that nearly half of Ashkenazim claiming to be descendants of the “Kohanim” (Old Testament Levitical priests) possessed “Y” chromosomes that indeed originate in Israelite roots. - New Research Returns to Koestler But in 2012, a major genetic study of Ashkenazim was led by Johns Hopkins geneticist Eran Israeli-Elhaik. It concentrates on the compelling genetic evidence that eastern European Jewry’s roots are not just in the Mid-East but, perhaps even more so, in the Caucasus, the mountainous heartland of ancient Khazaria. (See “The Missing Link of Jewish European Ancestry: Contrasting the Rhineland and the Khazarian Hypotheses“) - Elhaik says that because of dissatisfaction with current theory he and others are forced to look again at the possibility that the Mid-East and Semitic genes present in eastern European Jewry may primarily have come from the east. His team is compelled to research this possibility because genetic testing of Ashkenazim continues to reveal a high percentage of genes particular only to the relatively isolated, mountainous region of the Caucasus. Having completed a thorough genetic study of Ashkenazim worldwide, he is launching an even more extensive analysis in his “Khazar DNA Project,” specializing in testing Jews from the region of Khazaria itself. - Elhaik and others pose fresh ideas that could unravel the question of just how Ashkenazim could come to inherit such a high percentage of Jewish genes, as well as how eastern European Jewry attained such staggeringly high numbers from such a small Jewish population in Germany only 500 years earlier. - Here are some of Dr. Elhaik’s conclusions as a result of his first genetic study of Ashkenazim: - Early German historians bridged the historical gap simply by linking modern Jews directly to the ancient Judeans (Figure 1); a paradigm that was quickly embedded in medical science and crystallized as a narrative. Many have challenged this narrative (Koestler 1976; Straten 2007), mainly by showing that a sole Judean ancestry cannot account for the vast population of Eastern European Jews in the beginning of the 20th century without the major contribution of Judaized Khazars and by demonstrating that it is in conflict with anthropological, historical, and genetic evidence (Dinur 1961; Patai and Patai 1975; Baron 1993). - …the question of European Jewish ancestry remained debated mainly between the supporters of the Rhineland and Khazarian Hypotheses. The recent availability of genomic data of Caucasus populations (Behar et al. 2010) allowed testing the Khazarian Hypothesis for the first time and prompted us to contrast the Rhineland and Khazarian Hypotheses. To evaluate the two hypotheses, we carried out a series of comparative analyses between European Jews and surrogate Khazarian and Judean populations posing the same question each time: are Eastern and Central European Jews genetically closer to Caucasus or Middle Eastern populations? - Our PC, biogeographical estimation, admixture, IBD, ASD, and uniparental analyses were consistent in depicting a Caucasus ancestry for European Jews. Our first analyses revealed tight genetic relationship of European Jews and Caucasus populations and pinpointed the biogeographical origin of European Jews to the south of Khazaria (Figures 3,4). Our later analyses yielded a complex multi-ethnical ancestry with a slightly dominant Near Eastern-Caucasus ancestry, large Southern European and Middle Eastern ancestries, and a minor Eastern European contribution… - We show that the Khazarian Hypothesis offers a comprehensive explanation to the results…By contrast, the Rhineland Hypothesis could not explain the large Caucasus component in European Jews, which is rare in Non-Caucasus populations (Figure 5) and the large IBD regions shared between European Jews and Caucasus populations attesting to their common origins. A major difficulty with the Rhineland Hypothesis, in addition to the lack of historical and anthropological evidence to the multi-migration waves from Palestine to Europe (Straten 2003; Sand 2009), is to explain the vast population expansion of Eastern European Jews from 50 thousand (15th century) to 8 million (20th century). This growth could not possibly be the product of natural population expansion (Koestler 1976; Straten 2007), particularly one subjected to severe economic restrictions, slavery, assimilation, the Black Death and other plagues, forced and voluntary conversions, persecutions, kidnappings, rapes, exiles, wars, massacres, and pogroms (Koestler 1976; Sand 2009). Such an unnatural growth rate (1.7-2% annually) over half a millennia, affecting only Jews residing in Eastern Europe is commonly explained by a miracle (Atzmon et al. 2010). Unfortunately, this divine intervention explanation poses a new kind of problem – it is not science. Our findings reject the Rhineland Hypothesis and uphold the thesis that Eastern European Jews are Judeo-Khazars in origin. Further studies are necessary to confirm the magnitude of the Khazars demographic contribution to the demographic presence of Jews in Europe (Polak 1951; Dinur 1961; Koestler 1976; Baron 1993; Brook 2006). - read more! - “Mr. Benjamin Freedman, a Jewish industrialist born in New York, wrote in the Economic Council Letter published there of October 15 1947: “These Eastern European Jews have neither a racial nor a historic connection with Palestine. After spending years studying other people’s DNA, the 27-year-old doctoral student at the University of Chicago decided he wanted to learn more about his own genetic ancestry. When the results came back, they showed that Pickrell was largely of Northern European descent with a bit of Mediterranean blood in the mix. At the time, “I just thought, that’s about right,” Pickrell said. Together with 11 friends and colleagues who had completed the same test, Pickrell then ran his genetic profile through a computer algorithm designed to tease apart genetic lineages more precisely. Strangely, the analysis suggested that two people in the group were of Ashkenazi descent: New York-based attorney Dan Vorhaus and Pickrell. This finding made sense for Vorhaus, a Jew who grew up in the Bay Area. But for Pickrell, who was raised Catholic in Chicago’s northern suburbs, it came as a shock. Pickrell turned to his mother. “She said, ‘Wait a second, hold on; this rings a bell,’” Pickrell recalled. She made a few phone calls, and pieced together information: Her father’s father — Pickrell’s maternal great-grandfather — had been raised Jewish in Poland before moving to the United States, where he married a Catholic woman and left his Jewish upbringing behind. “It’s amusing that using genetics, I could wrestle this out of the bushes,” Pickrell said. DNA tests to uncover Jewish origins have been offered for decades by companies such as Houston-based Family Tree DNA and DNA Tribes of Arlington, Va. They have shown, for example, that many Hispanic Americans likely descended from Jews who were forced to convert or hide their religion more than 500 years ago in Spain and Portugal. Yet although standard ancestry-testing platforms can point to centuries-old Jewish origins, none would have flagged Pickrell’s relatively recent Semitic pedigree. Related Kudrow Explores Her Roots and Takes Other Friends With Her Rabbis and Halacha Grapple With Advances in DNA Technology Hitler Likely Had Jewish and African Roots That’s because most DNA tests have traditionally relied on only two small parts of the genome: the Y-chromosome, which is passed down almost unchanged from father to son, and mitochondria, which mothers pass faithfully to their offspring. Because these stretches of DNA remain relatively consistent from one generation to the next, they are particularly useful for testing direct-line paternal and maternal ancestry, respectively; however, they essentially ignore the bulk of someone’s DNA ancestry and cannot detect genetic signatures that cross gender lines. But the test that 23andMe offers is different. Available commercially for only a few years, it measures close to a million single “letters” of DNA smattered across the whole genome to reveal ancestral origins of, and risk factors for, almost 100 diseases. And with the $99 sale price the company was charging for the test in December — much less than similar tests — more people have been rushing to use the service and are getting surprising results. According to 23andMe geneticist Mike Macpherson, about 2% of the 40,000 people of non-Ashkenazi European descent who have used the company’s platform show some reliable signature of Ashkenazi heritage in their DNA. CeCe Moore, a 41-year-old amateur genealogist who runs a television production company in Orange County, Calif., is one such customer. In 2008, Moore tested her mitochondrial DNA and her father’s Y chromosome, but found no traces of Jewish heritage. Then, last year, she obtained her DNA readout from 23andMe and learned that a small but significant amount of her genome appeared to be of Ashkenazi origin. Because she always hung out with a mostly Jewish crowd, “people used to think I was Jewish,” said Moore, who was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness. “So it’s funny to find that although it’s pretty far back, there’s something there.” But Richard Villems, a molecular anthropologist at the University of Tartu, in Estonia, who studies genetic origins of Jewish communities, cautions against jumping to conclusions based on DNA alone, especially because the further back one goes in ancestry, the weaker the genetic signals become. “I bet that no such claim [of Jewish origins] will stand in the courtroom,” he said. Although someone’s genetic data can hint at Ashkenazi origins, it’s impossible to rule out the chance of a long-lost ancestor with non-Jewish Middle Eastern roots, he said. Unless, that is, there is corroborating evidence. Since Pickrell received verification that his great-grandfather was Jewish, “then it fits,” Villems said. “Without such a known family record, just typical genotyping would not have been enough to identify this ‘drop of blood’ as Ashkenazim.” Pickrell said he has no plans to start going to synagogue. And since “genes do not define the Jews,” according to Edward Reichman, an Orthodox rabbi and physician at Yeshiva University in New York, the Jewish community at large probably won’t embrace him, either. But according to Bennett Greenspan, president and CEO of Family Tree DNA, many people who learn of Semitic ancestry through DNA often end up converting to Judaism. Elliot Dorff, a conservative rabbi and ethicist at American Jewish University in Los Angeles, welcomes these conversions. “We would really want to encourage such people to rediscover their Jewish roots,” he said. Although people who find Jewish origins through DNA are not strictly Jewish, halachically speaking, Dorff noted that many people in this situation already feel a deep-seated connection to the religion. Regrettably, not everyone has living relatives to corroborate the findings of DNA testing. Rick Voss, a 66-year-old Atlanta-based lawyer, always suspected that his paternal grandparents might be Jewish, and last year the results of 23andMe’s kit indicated that Voss himself was half-Jewish. But since both Voss’s father and grandparents died decades ago, he can’t ask them for more details. “That kind of confirmation is completely unavailable,” said Voss, who grew up attending a Protestant church in the Chicago area. Nonetheless, Voss noted, discovering through his DNA that he probably has Jewish roots “has some psychic meaning.” Fortunately for Pickrell, he managed to secure more concrete answers to his personal odyssey through family oral history. He is quick to note, however, that had no elders been alive to confirm the DNA-based findings, “in another generation this information would have been essentially lost.” Elie Dolgin is a news editor with Nature Medicine in New York. forward/articles/134758/family-roots/ Read more: forward/articles/134758/family-roots/… DNA Reveals that Ashkenazi “Jews” are NOT descendants of Abraham but of King Bulan and the Khazars advocatesforpeaceandsocialjustice.wordpress/…/d…/ Khazaria—the Myth of Anti-Semitism Exposed at Last!! Here is the dictionary definition of MYTH: Etymology: New Latin mýthus, from Late Latin mýthos, from Greek muthos. A fiction or half-truth, especially one that forms part of an ideology. An unfounded or false notion. A person or thing having only an imaginary or unverifiable existence. Idle fancy, fable, fiction. Here is the dictionary definition of ANTI-SEMITISM: 1. Hostility toward or prejudice against Jews or Judaism. 2. Discrimination against Jews. In this Biblical, historical, and factual exposé, we will give the reasons for the existence of Old Khazaria . . . and New Khazaria!! The most cruel hoax in history!! The most cruel hoax which history has ever perpetrated are the words used to describe this Jewish hoax or myth by a Khazar author named Arthur Koestler: This was written before the full extent of the holocaust was known, but that does not alter the fact that the large majority of surviving Jews in the world is of Eastern European—and thus perhaps mainly of Khazar—origin. If so, this would mean that their ancestors came not from the Jordan but from the Volga, not from Canaan but from the Caucasus, once believed to be the cradle of the Aryan race; and that genetically they are more closely related to the Hun, Uigur and Magyar tribes than to the seed of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Should this turn out to be the case, then the term anti-Semitism would become void of meaning, based on a misapprehension shared by both the killers and their victims. The story of the Khazar Empire, as it slowly emerges from the past, begins to look like the most cruel hoax which history has ever perpetrated. (Arthur Koestler, The Thirteenth Tribe, p. 17). The Khazars adopted the religion of the Samaritans or fake Jews around 740 A.D. By that time, this religion became know as Judaism. Old Khazaria. Old Khazaria. Old Khazaria existed from about 500 AD to about 1000 AD. Old Khazaria adopted the religion of the Samaritans, now called Judaism, around 740 AD. Khazaria was reborn on May 14, 1948. New Khazaria. New Khazaria. Of course the eminent author Mr. Koestler blames HISTORY for perpetuating this hoax or lie, but JOSHUA said that Satan the devil is the father of lies: When he (Satan) speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (John 8:44). New Khazaria would not exist today except for this imaginary Holocaust which served to win them sympathy throughout the world. Holocaust comes from the Latin Vulgate Version!! The word HOLOCAUST comes from the Latin Vulgate and appears 359 times. In the English Bible, the word is translated BURNT OFFERING or sacrifice by fire: And Noah built an altar unto JEHOVAH: and taking of all cattle and fowls that were clean, offered holocausts (Lat. holocausta) upon the altar. (Genesis 8:20, Latin Vulgate Version). Here is the famous story of JEHOVAH commanding Abraham to offer up his son Isaac (a type of Christ) as a burnt offering: Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw behind his back a ram, amongst the briers, sticking fast by the horns, which he took and offered for a holocaust (Lat. holocaustum) instead of his son. (Genesis 22:13, Latin Vulgate Version). In order to have a JEWISH Holocaust you MUST have Jews....No Jews . . . no Jewish Holocaust....It is not rocket science to figure that out....The real Jews disappeared from history when their task of bringing the Messiah into the world was fulfilled. There was no Holocaust of the Khazars either because Satan does not cast out Satan or get rid of his own people. Joshua the Messiah said: And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan? (Mark 3:23). The reason for the existence of Old Khazaria In one of the greatest of the great prophecies of the Bible, JEHOVAH gives the entire history of the human race in advance from about 500 B.C., to the end of time. JEHOVAH presented this history in advance in the form of a terrifying statue or image that appeared to King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon in a nightmare . . . which the king promptly forgot when he awoke. None of his astrologers or wise men could be of any help to him in interpreting the dream because they were all charlatans and fakes. Daniel the Jewish prophet, who was a captive in Babylon, came to the rescue and told the king his forgotten dream . . . and its interpretation: Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold. And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. (Daniel 2:37-40). Notice that the 4 empires follow one another in SUCCESSION and there is no gap or break between them. 4 world empires of Daniel chapter 2. 4 world empires of Daniel chapter 2. The king of Babylon had a dream in which he saw all of world history from his day to the end of time. Even before the time of Constantine, there were several Roman Emperors who lived in several cities besides Rome. The division started in earnest with Constantine. Statue of Constantine in York, England. Statue of Constantine in York, England. Constantine was a British GIANT who conquered the entire Roman Empire. His iron legions trod down the entire Empire from Britain to Persia. In 324, he decided to build a new capital in the East at Byzantium, and leave Old Rome to the Papal dynasty. Colossal head of Constantine in Rome. Colossal head of Constantine in Rome. After he became sole master of the Roman Empire, Constantine began building a new capital at a Greek city called Byzantium. Today the city is called Istanbul. Today the city is called Istanbul. Constantinople—the New Rome—soon became a rival to Old Rome in splendor and riches. Eastern Emperors often ruled Rome from this new upstart city. Constantinople became the new capital of the Roman Empire. Constantinople became the new capital of the Roman Empire. Naturally, Old Rome was not about to give pride of place to this new upstart so the rivalry and competition began almost immediately. Beginning about 400 A.D., and lasting until 1453, Old Rome sent one conqueror after another to destroy Constantinople. These 10 would-be conquerors of Constantinople by no means exhaust the list: Huns Persians Arabs Magyars Pechenegs Khazars Mongols Normans Franks Turks All of these 10 nations or tribe served many false gods or idols, but they were united in their determination to destroy the Eastern Roman Empire. Only one of them adopted a false religion named Judaism and that tribe was called Khazars....The Khazars were actually a branch of the dreaded Huns who invaded from the Far East around 430 A.D. The Eastern Emperors were masters of the Roman art of divide and conquer....They often played one enemy against another, and Emperor Heraclius (610-641), bought the Khazar king off with an offer of marriage into the royal family: This decision did not, however, mean that the Emperor intended to leave Constantinople and its defenders to look after themselves. On the contrary, Patriarch Sergius and the Patrician Bonus, to whom he jointly entrusted the citys defence, found themselves deluged with orders, instructions, advice and messages of encouragement. These last were posted publicly in the streets and had an immediate effect, firing the whole population with determination and enthusiasm for the struggle ahead. Heraclius himself meanwhile turned his attention to one of the principal Hunnish tribes of the Caucasus, the Khazars, intercepting them as they returned from a raiding expedition in Azerbaijan and dazzling their Khagan, Ziebil, by the splendour of his court, which he maintained even when on campaign, and by the richness of his presents. In the course of one of their several conversations, he showed the Khagan a picture of his daughter Epiphania and promised him her hand in marriage. Ziebil, enchanted by the picture and flattered beyond measure both by the treatment he was receiving and by the prospect of himself joining the imperial family, offered Heraclius 40,000 of his best men in return. (Fortunately for Epiphania, he was dead by the end of the year; the poor girl was thus spared the grim fate to which her father had unhesitatingly consigned her). (Norwich, Byzantium: The Early Centuries, p. 294). Until the year 760 A.D., the Khazars were idolaters and shamans, who worshipped many false gods. In that year, King Bulan, decided to adopt the religion of Talmudic Judaism. His so-called conversion accompanied by dreams and visions almost mirrored that of the false prophet named Mohammed. King Bulan was the first Khazar to adopt Judaism!! By this time, the religion of the Samaritans was called Judaism. King Bulan was the first of his pagan tribe to adopt the religion of Judaism. At that time, everybody had to be the same religion as their king, so every member of his shamanistic tribe was now a JEW: Josephs narrative starts with a eulogy of his ancestor, King Bulan, a great conqueror and a wise man who drove out the sorcerers and idolators from his land. Subsequently an angel appeared to King Bulan in his dreams, exhorting him to worship the only true God, and promising that in exchange He would bless and multiply Bulans offspring, and deliver his enemies into his hands, and make his kingdom last to the end of the world. This, of course, is inspired by the story of the Covenant in Genesis; and it implies that the Khazars too claimed the status of a Chosen Race, who made their own Covenant with the Lord, even though they were not descended from Abrahams seed. (Koestler, The Thirteenth Tribe, p. 66). Even the so-called rabbis from Baghdad, who converted the king, were not real Jews but Samaritans who supplanted the real Jews after the final destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in 135 A.D. The Russians forced the Khazars to abandon Khazaria These pagan Khazars would not join the Orthodox Church and cease fighting vainly against Constantinople, so the emerging Russian Orthodox state put an end to Old Khazaria. Constantinople had an aggressive missionary spirit and the conversion of Russia was the most far-sighted event in their 1000 year turbulent history. Russia at that time was a small principality centered around the city of Kiev in present day Ukraine. Saint Vladimir (958-1015). Saint Vladimir (958-1015). Saint Vladimir is known as the baptizer of Russia because his conversion led to the conversion of that GREAT nation to Orthodox Christianity. Henceforth Khazaria was caught in a vise between Russia and Constantinople. Statue of Saint Vladimir in Kiev. Statue of Saint Vladimir in Kiev. After Russias conversion to Orthodoxy, the clergy rallied that GREAT nation to throw off the Khazar and Mongol yokes: A crushing blow was dealt to the Khazar Empire by Svyatoslav, Grand Duke of Kiev (ruled 962-972), the son of Prince Igor and Igors wife Olga. His life was one of war and conquest. The Rusian Primary Chronicle recorded that, as part of his childhood upbringing, Svyatoslav was tutored by Asmund and instructed in military tactics by the voievoda (military commander) Svyneld. Medieval accounts described him as a valiant and strong leader who undertook many campaigns. (Brook, The Jews of Khazaria, p.193). The Khazars were forced out of their base in the Caucasus and most of them migrated to Eastern Europe. That alone counts for the presence of Jews in Eastern Europe and Germany. Its now easy to see why the vengeful Khazars a.k.a. Jews were behind the Russian Revolution and Communism. A 12th century Khazar state in the Mideast! Incredible as it may seems, the Khazars tried to establish a Jewish state in the Mideast in order to prepare for the Messiah: Another bit of semi-legendary, semi-historical folklore connected with the Khazars survived into modern times, and so fascinated Benjamin Disraeli that he used it as material for a historical romance: The Wondrous Tale of Alroy. In the twelfth century there arose in Khazaria a Messianic movement, a rudimentary attempt at a Jewish crusade, aimed at the conquest of Palestine by force of arms. The initiator of the movement was a Khazar Jew, one Solomon ben Duji (or Ruhi or Roy), aided by his son Menahem and a Palestinian scribe. They wrote letters to all the Jews, near and far, in all the lands around them.... They said that the time had come in which God would gather Israel, His people from all lands to Jerusalem, the holy city, and that Solomon Ben Duji was Elijah, and his son the Messiah. (Koestler, The Thirteenth Tribe, p. 136). Arthur Koestlers book is a fascinating true history of the origin of the Khazars in the Caucasus. The real reason for the creation of New Khazaria In one of the greatest of the great prophecies of the Bible, St. Paul said that the man of sin or Antichrist must be revealed FIRST before the end of the world would come: Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition . . . so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (II Thess 2:3). ALL of the Reformers applied that prophecy to the PAPAL DYNASTY. Saint Martin Luther said: Oh Christ, my Lord, look down upon us and bring upon us the day of judgment, and destroy the brood of Satan at Rome. There sits the Man, of whom the Apostle Paul wrote that he would oppose and exalt himself above all that is called God — the Man of Sin, the son of perdition . . . What is theTemple of God? Is it stones and wood? Did not Paul say, The Temple of God is holy, which Temple ye are? To sit — what is it but to reign, to teach and to judge. Who from the beginning of the church has dared to call himself master of the whole church but the Pope alone. None of the saints, none of the heretics ever uttered so horrible a word of pride. (Luthers Works, Vol. 2. p. 281). This prophetic teaching (historicist) was playing havoc with the Latin Church. Millions were escaping and obeying the Lords command to come out of her (Rev. 18:4). Jesuit general Ignatius LIEola commissioned one of his Jesuits named Francisco Ribera (1537-1591) to write an opposing view. He wrote a 500 page commentary on the Book of Revelation. The main premise of his commentary was that: 1. Antichrist was one man . . . not a dynasty. 2. He would be an atheist or infidel. 3. He would not be revealed until 7 years before the end of time. 4. He would sit in a rebuilt Jewish temple in Jerusalem and make a covenant with the Jews. 5. He would call himself God etc., etc. 6. The Christians were hindering his appearance but they would be caught up or raptured to Heaven before his appearance— the Left Behind madness!! This became the official Latin position on Antichrist. This new idea (futurism) very conveniently shifted the focus from the Papacy to some fanciful individual way off in the distant future. John Nelson Darby became its main proponent in the English speaking world. The Khazars very conveniently played a major role in fulfilling this prophecy. They claimed to be Jews, and a few fanatics actually wanted to conquer Palestine by force and make it a homeland for the Khazars a.k.a. Jews. There was one problem however. The Turks occupied Palestine and they were not about to give up that land to Khazars. World War I saw the defeat of the Turks and the opening of Palestine for Khazar immigration. General Allenby (1861-1936). General Allenby (1861-1936). The stage was set for the rebirth of Khazaria on December 11, 1917, when British Druid general Allenby conquered Palestine from the Turks. Most Khazars had no interest in Palestine so it took another world war to get them to emigrate there. General Allenby entering Jerusalem. General Allenby entering Jerusalem. With the British conquest of Palestine, the door was now open for Khazar emigration. Unfortunately for the Jesuits, most Khazars, even though they called themselves Jews, had no interest in leaving Europe and moving to Palestine. It took World War II and a 6 million hoax to get them to finally settle there. Millions of people perished in World War II. The nation that suffered the most was Russia, with the loss of 27 million people. Serbs lost millions in concentration camps but you never hear anything about their suffering. We should not overlook the fact that Khazaria is also a Pentagon military base aimed at Russia and pro-Russian countries. Vital Links The Thirteenth Tribe The Hoax of the 20th Century by Arthur R. Khazar history is divided into two periods: the Crimean–North Caucasus (c. 650–750) and the Lower Volga (c. 750–965) phases. Politically focused on the northern Black Sea region, during the first phase the Khazars were locked in endless wars against the Arabs over the control of the Caucasus. After a major defeat in 737, the Khazars relocated their political focus to the north and established their capital of Atil/Itil in the Volga delta around 800. The next one hundred years of Khazar history (known as Pax Chazarica) brought security to the Russian steppe and the surrounding regions, permitting cross-continental trade to flourish via Khazaria and providing it with the necessary stability for the formation of a unique material culture, known to archaeologists as Saltovo. Khazaria was an empire or kaghanate, the highest form of Turkic political organization. The kaghan or its leader was apparently of Turkic origin and had supreme secular and sacred functions. During the ninth century, his political-religious role was split: He retained his religious-sacred function, while the governor or beg ruled the state. At its height in the first half of the ninth century, Khazar territories stretched from the middle Dnieper in the west to the Volga-Ural steppe in the east, and from the middle Volga in the north to the Crimea in the south. It was populated by Turkic and Iranian nomads, Finno-Ugrian foragers, Slavic agriculturalists, and urban Crimean Greeks, making the kaghanate a multiethnic, multilingual, and multireligious state. Khazar economy was diverse and included animal husbandry, agriculture, hunting and gathering, fishing, craft production, agriculture, viniculture, and domestic and international trade. Khazars traded locally manufactured goods as well as the furs, slaves, honey, and wax they obtained as tribute from the Slavic and Finno-Ugrian tribes of the north. Khazaria also acted as an intermediary for Rus-Arab trade and received a tithe from the bypassing merchants. Millions of Islamic silver coins (dirhams) were exported via the Khazar Way (lower Volga-Don-Donets-Okaupper Volga) trade route to northwestern Russia in exchange for Rus commodities. Most Khazars practiced shamanist-Täri religion. In the late eighth to early ninth century (but perhaps as late as 861), the Khazar ruling elite converted to Judaism. While many questions remain concerning this conversion and its pervasiveness, it is clear that by accepting Judaism, the ruling class made Khazaria a religious neutral zone for its warring Christian and Islamic neighbors. Religious tolerance and Khazarias international commercial interests brought Christians, Muslims, Jews, pagans, and others to trade and live within the kaghanate. Pax Chazarica came to an end by the early tenth century. Already in the 890s, Pechenegs and Magyars infiltrated Khazaria from the east, while the Rus annexed Khazarian territories in the northwest. Concurrently, the Khazar Way declined and the Rus-Islamic trade shifted to the lands of the Volga Bulghars, thereby bypassing Khazar toll collectors. Greatly weakened, Khazaria was destroyed in 965 by the Rus and their Torky allies. See also: islam; jews; religion; torky bibliography Dunlop, D. M. (1967). The History of the Jewish Khazars.
