oh... deep breaths deep breaths .... we moved into our house and were puzzled by a few things, one of which being that there is central air, and yet in a window, a ac unit box remained, assuming (yeah theres thaaaat word) that it would just need removing we didnt pay much attention to it. Well, after moving in we looked closer at the ac box and realized we couldnt just remove it and close the window because half of the window sash (the segment of square glass you can slide up and down) was halved, so upon removing the unit there would need to be a new window put in, the entire window, not just a piece of window. So jay just replaced our water heater yesterday... cha ching, life sucks financially, but he did it, and saved us several hundred dollars by installing it himself, i think it boosted his confidence so he approached the ac unit tonight, and upon removing it the neighbor came over to comment that the window had been like that for 30 years..... and the wood below it was so rotted jay was able to generously scoop out handfuls of rotted wood that resemble soil..... mixed into the soil were nails that once held the wall together. Im panicking.... my chest hurts.... we do not... do not, do not, have the money for this. ow the stress attacks my face. also i go to the dentist tommorow :( f m l.
