omigod.. they are finally asleep again.. u know.. i dont mean to share a status update every 5 minutes.. but i feel the stress of being a mom.. and i gotta share.. now u see.. i dont have kids.. and i dont want any.. EVER! .. but i can only imagine.. how amazing it feels to know u got them to sleep after u give them a bottle.. imagine i am getting this from the experience of bottle-feeding 5 little abandoned kittens.. people of sint maarten.. my fellow local antillians.. please please please spay / neuter your pets.. the situation on this island is ridiculous... i met two tourists yesterday who are giving up their timeshare bc they are sick of the animal abuse on the island.. i mean .. is this what we want for our island? a decrease in tourism for THIS reason? come on .. seriously.. build a new bridge.. ok sure.. how about regulating the effin traffic so u dont have ot build bridges to ease up on traffic .. ? how about sorting a solution for the animal control (or rather lack of animal control) on this island. i got shit to do and instead im running up and down trying to make sure these little lives .. exist for longer than 2 weeks.. (the fate of many newborns who are not found or go ignored by our local people.. yes local people bc 9 out of 10 tourists WILL HELP... im just .. appalled.. and so sick of this.. what can i do otherwise? is there anyone out there willing to help me.. help this islands lack of animal control? im at my wits end.. this cannot continue like this.. really.. anyways i rambled.. but.. what i wanted to day was.. its a great feeling to know youve helped 5 crying babies.. get some sleep on a full stomach.. regardless the inconvenience.. i prefer this than knowing i did nothing. thats the difference between me as a local sint maartener.. and others whom dont give a shit.. and now.. i begin editing again.. pffff 11:06.. nice..
