quick survey here if yall dont mind, making sure Im advising my friend the right way...so, if this possible scenario happened, what would be your reaction or input?? man and woman, semi-serious relationship, not really committed but def love and intentions there, and after what was already a morning of patiently enduring the mans bad mood and rude comments/actions, he says very dryly when you come back out, Ill take some water to which she replied oh I put those water bottles in the fridge (smile-hint hint just grab it while Im busy hurrying) to which he returns with ohhh ok well just bring that. From what I understand, never a please, or considerate request, just a controlling request-demand..to which she didnt respond and get the water bottle bcuz he was not helpless and it was almost like it was an inappropriate test of her obedience and love. Long story short, the man was ticked enough that he decided she would never be a good wife bcuz she was too stubborn and too independent to be his mate so he ended it. yehh I know..must not have been an it to begin with, right? As for me, I saw it as a battle for control and domination thru fear and threat of losing love. I say we should serve out of love, not fear, control, or even spousal (esp wife) obligation. Is this a man looking for a servant? was he just trying to pick a fight and looking for an excuse? or should a woman slave away and wait on a man hand and foot without thought? Isnt it weak and evil for a man to expect to served like he is a god or a king?? Just trying to hear others voices on this..1,2,3,go...and yall be nice lol!
